Afternoon folks 🧐

Parliament might be in recess but cross-party talks between Number 10 and *Labour* will continue this week. 👀

*Downing Street* have confirmed this morning that talks with Labour will now be split into three working groups: workers’ rights, the environment and security.

As our colleague Jack Maidment has reported, it’s worth noting that there isn’t a *customs union* working group. Number 10 have said that this is because the customs union issue is already being looked at. 🧐

But as many have noted, until Number 10 decides whether to actually shift their position on a customs union, it’s unlikely that cross-party talks will yield any significant breakthroughs. 🤨

And before you take your eyes off of the Brexit ball, *John Longworth* has explained why he’s standing for *Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party*: http://bit.ly/2PdJsnA
